Are you tired of extreme spending threatening our nation’s future and Washington liberals telling you that government run health care is the only answer? Do you want to join a team that’s doing something about it?

You know Joe as the Congressman who works tirelessly for his constituents around the district. He’s been working hard to protect our conservative values in Washington too. And now the liberal Democrats have taken notice and they’re pushing back as hard as they can.

This fight isn’t about Joe Wilson. It’s not about Barack Obama or any other elected official. It’s about stopping big government plans that will grow our debts for generations to come. It’s about conservative solutions to our nation’s biggest problems. It’s about getting back to the basics on which our nation was founded and our constitution was written.

Joe is looking for conservative leaders to help take back Washington. If you’re ready to join the fight, please text gojoe to 41513 or click here to volunteer.

    1. Joe, I am a South Carolinian (born in Charleston and raised in Beaufort). I only wish my “representatives” were just one tenth as honest as you. My representative is beholden to SEIU and therefore worthless. My parents are fortunate to have you looking after their interests. Thank you for following in the footsteps of other GREAT South Carolinian politicians and representing the Great State of South Carolina with honesty and integrity.

I am tired of an over-reaching federal government. Since when is it acceptable for the government to confiscate seven months of a hardworking person’s salary in order to satisfy federal income tax. This is confiscatory, punitive, and forced slavery of American workers which is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Why is no one speaking up about this and actually revamping the tax system?

I am also tired of activist judges that have usurped the powers of the Constitution. Why is no one reversing legislation that undermines our freedom and the framework of our Founding Fathers?

I find it a dangerous precedent that the current administration is setting by not enforcing our immigration laws, not closing and securing our borders, and compromising our national security by ignoring these issues and moving forward on CIA investigations which have kept our country safe for the past eight years.

I attended the March on DC on September 12th of this year. The MAJORITY of Americans are very angry. We are NOT being represented by those who we elected to represent us. This is truly taxation without representation. We will not be forced to endure legislation with which we do not agree. We the people will shut this government down until they “serve” us the way the framers of the Constitution intended it.

Thank you for your patriotism and efforts to represent the American people.

My wife and I are constituents from Lady’s Island. We have always been contributing members of our society. We pay taxes, we vote and we volunteer in our community. I work for a non-profit organization and she works from home. Neither of us is eligible for health insurance. Last year my lovely wife lost the vision in her right eye. Within two days of testing we had accrued $20,000 of debt. She is still blind in that eye. The bottom line is this: something needs to change.
I am very tired of extreme spending that threatens our nations’s future. The problem is that we do not have the same definition of extreme spending. I was and still am opposed to the billions of borrowed dollars squandered on two unjust wars under the Bush regime.
Bring our troops home and bring corporate greed under control and you will have my support.
Thank you for your time, I would appreciate your efforts on our behalf,
      Shawn A. Albertson

Saw that Rep. Silvestre Reyes voted “yes” to sanction you. Wrote him I disagreed with him, and had given money to YOU, ‘nada’ for him. While I am in El Paso, TX., you are my hero and wish you were my Congressman. I get a lot of great feedback on my self-created T-Shirt “I believe Joe Wilson “You LIE!” Get stopped frequently in stores asking where they can get one. Have to tell them it was navy T-shirt with iron on white letters. ha ha

You are in our prayers! Keep going, and going, and going!

To the government, First of all, read the Constitution. We The People have a few demands. Get out of the auto industry, insurance industry, & banking industry. Stop stimulating your political cronies with our money. If newspapers can’t survive, tough. Stop telling the world that we are sorry. We are not sorry, and we have always been proud of our Republic. Stop making laws that are aimed at the few at the expense and discrimination of the many. Stop taxing the dickens out of business and over regulating them while we still have a few. Stop subsidizing or giving tax breaks to companies that are leaving our borders. Stop trying to tell us anything has to be passed or the sky is going to fall. If you don’t read the Bill, then you are not qualified to vote on it. Stay out of our health care. Replenish OUR money that you STOLE from the Social Security TRUST fund. Stop treating SSI as a slush fund for alcoholics, drug addicts, and mental cases. Just another way to retain voting blocks. Stop making videos for schools aimed at indoctrinating our children. No more czars in the Executive branch. Get out of the U.N. Treat our enemies as our enemies. Treat our allies as allies. If you can’t differentiate from the two, then you should leave Washington now. Stop running for office on what you want to do, and start running on what we want you to do, and that consists of adhering to the Constitution and Bill Of Rights. Stop with the so-called global warming. We are smart enough to realize that all you want to do is control our lives and initiate the largest tax increase in American history through the Cap & Trade (Ration & Tax as I call it) legislation, along with the health careless Bill. If you believed in God you would understand that he is in control of the climate, not politicians. Stop trying to support abortion by using my money to fund them. If someone in government believes that man is an animal no different than a rat, then that man should be committed to an institution. Once again, if you believed in God then you would know that he gave man dominance over all the animals of land, air, and sea. You don’t have the right to regulate free speech in any form. You don’t have the right to take our guns. You don’t have the right to pass legislation that you are immune or exempt from. Enforce laws on the books that are aimed at illegal immigration. No amnesty for those who came here illegally. Stop making welfare a way of life so you can retain votes for the next election. Treat our veterans with the dignity they deserve at the VA. If you send our military to war, make damn sure you send enough troops and fire power to overwhelm the enemy. Stop telling my state what they have to do in order to get MY money for highway repairs or anything else. Let us purchase health care insurance from other states. How about some tort reform. That is all the time I have, but that is just a small sample of what is wrong with you people in government.
Thank you for your time; Tim
      P.S. This is not negotiable!

    8. Go Joe. Keep up the good work. Less government lower taxes, more freedom.

    9. Natalie says:

Joe: We are from Florida and redirected our vacation from GA to SC because of your cojones to speak the truth. We support you 100 %, and have sent you a contribution. We plan on spending money in Beaufort and Charleston. Probably about 5 days in hotels and restaurants. There is a purpose to this trip, too. We plan on getting a good supply of cigarettes. I know this sounds like tax evasion, but it is for our personal use only. Keep SC cigarette taxes as they are, legislate the “greed factor” in pricing, and your tourism will definately increase. I’m not the only family coming north for this purpose. Your state is a better paridise than we ever dreamed! We smokers are rolling your way. Love and support, Natalie

    10. Glenn Livingston says:

Once again the first shots, of truth, are fired from a great South Carolinian. Joe we look to you for your leadership in Washington, to preserve not only our way of life but our national philosophy. Thank you for stepping up when others wouldn’t.

    11. TERESA BRYSON says:

I am a SC resident in the upstate.I am SO proud of you!

    12. Stacy Hyatt says:

Two words “YOU LIE”!! I think you pretty much said it all in terms of the current administration and sadly, a majority of
your peers. It’s a sad day when our public servants choose only to serve themselves and special interest groups! We now live in a country and face actions by our government that most of us wouldn’t have imagined possible a year ago! An ad
inistration filled with self avowed Marxists and Socialists! I’ve yet to hear anyone deny the political or personal agendas of the people the President has chosen to advise him. Czars?! People with the power to implement the President’s agenda without the approval of the Senate? How was this allowed to happen? They have the ability to make our representatives
irrelevant. But alas, we’ve been betrayed by too many that we did elect to represent us! The call is no longer “can you hear
us now” but instead it’s “why won’t you listen to us”!!?
Joe, tell them WE say NO to the government takeover of our health care system!! I prefer it with a few flaws than
destroyed by those who seek to control it and us! We can see through them! It’s not an issue of caring,it’s about
power and the ability to control 1/6 th of our economy!
It’s about creating a monstrosity that will require ever increasing amounts of OUR money (can you say taxes)!
Can you say rationing and limiting our access to services? Can you say “fewer doctors” when many of them say
” I’ve had enough”! Yes, I know the President said they took their oath too seriously, but there are those who
still believe in keeping an oath and/or their promises! Joe, tell them we don’t believe in magic and want them to
show us how they came up with 650,000 as the number of jobs they created or saved with the stimulus!? Say it again Joe,
YOU LIE!! There’s an old saying “figures don’t lie, but liars can figure”! Did they include the 13,000 jobs lost with
the closing of Saturn? Or the 1100 Whirlpool jobs moving to Mexico? I think you get the idea! What I can’t recite are
jobs that have been created. To be fair, no doubt there have been a few here and there! But again, we need you to tell
them that we’re not fools! The goal of the stimulus wasn’t to create jobs, nor is that the goal of this administration.
Biden spoke the truth when he said it had worked better than they expected- because it didn’t create jobs!
Joe, tell them we heard them say it would be a “jobless recovery”!
Ask them to explain that one! Joe, please tell the President that it’s
time for him to either send the needed troops to Afghanistan OR bring our beloved soldiers home now! Joe, would you just
tell them NO, we don’t believe government is the solution! I believe
government is the problem! God Bless you and our Country!!
