Merry Christmas from the Wilsons
by Joe Wilson on December 24, 2009Dear friend,
This Christmas is going to be very special for me and Roxanne, as we will be celebrating it with our newborn granddaughter, Anna Grace Wilson. We truly cherish our children and grandchildren and always enjoy spending time with them around Christmas.
How are you celebrating the holidays this year? Leave a comment below and let us know.
Christmas is very important to my family. We have a wonderful dinner, exchange presents and reflect upon the many blessings we have been given, including the wonderful country where we are so fortunate to live.
It is also a somber time as we remember our brave men and women serving overseas who are not able to spend the holidays at home. As a veteran and the father of four sons serving in the military, I am incredibly thankful for their sacrifice and will continue to hope for a safe return for all of them.
We would love to know how you are spending this holiday season. Will you please leave a comment on JoeWilsonforCongress.com and tell us how your family celebrates the holidays?
Roxanne and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and we hope you are able to have a wonderful time with your family and friends.
Sincerely,
Joe Wilson

God Bless and Merry Christmas. We here in Ohio are spending Christmas with our family. I love this time of year…for family, friends and let’s not forget the food.. but most important to us is the reason for Christmas…Baby Jesus.
Joy to the World. and may 2010 bring conservatism back to D C and stop the madness and LIES. Vote
The Jack Family wishes Joe and his family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We will be spending Christmas together celebrating our lord Jesus Christ and remembering lost loved ones and friends.
Also wish a safe and Happy Holidays to my fellow Marines and servicemen and women all over the world.OOH RAH!
Hopefully our lost government officals will be visited at this time by ghosts of our founding fathers and be led back into the light of common sense and constitutional wisdom and obedience. Thanks Joe!
Merry Christmas Joe and family,
We spend Christmas with Jo’s mom who is in a nursing home.
Thanks for the great job you are doing for the whole country, as well as your state.
Merry Christmas to everyone. We have no family here in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts but we spend Christmas eve at mass and then have our good friends over for dinner. Later on, we each open one gift and then make calls to family. Congratulations to you on the new grandchild.
Thank you for speaking up when NO ONE else in our party did! Let’s take back our nation, re-establish national pride and unload those liberals who are seeking to remake this country into a socialist European nation. If that’s what they want, move to one! We love our country as is! Any lawyers out there that are willing to sue the congress for violating the constitution they promised to uphold?
Happy NewYear to all and let’s make sure our party re-establishes TRUE Conservative values and run on those values. NO MORE REACHING OUT TO THE OTHER SIDE> If Mitch McConnell, McCain and Lindsey Graham want to comprimise, they can join the Democrats with Spector. WE NEED MORE JOE WILSONS!
Spending the day at home with family…. Going to make dinner and have my sister and brother in-law over… Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for the Christmas Message. My wife and I will be spending Christmas Day working at a local Hospital. Our children live up North and so we decided to give other people who work here, and have small children, a chance for them to celebrate with their families. We know how important family is and especially this time of the year. May God richly Bless you and your Family. I know today is not a day for politics so I will not comment on anything that has to do with politics. Except to say to those who read this. May GOD richly bless all of you. And may we never forget why we spend this day together. Thanks again for the Christmas Wish.
Bryan and Diane Smith.
Merry Christmas, Congressman!
Here in Arizona m family is celebrating Christmas with our new granddaughter too!
For 2010, think Victory then think Repeal. Let’s not just win and then enact more law. Let’s start thinking about repealing law. Neither my friends nor I can think of any good bestowed upon our nation by the Department of Energy, the Department of Education nor the EPA, though the latter accomplished some good things in the 70′s. The day for those agencies is past.
Then, let’s get a flat tax, repeal of the “health care” bill and a lot of other old baggage serving no one but statists in their desire for control of our lives.
Yours in conservatism and freedom,
Jeff Dover and family
Scottsdale, AZ
Our best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year.

Joe, my wife and I wish you a very merry Christmas. Also I wish you a resounding return to congress in the New Year.
I also apologize to you personally for the Republicans that forced you to recount you statement during Obama’s speech to congress that, “He Lies!” Those Republicans missed a great opportunity to join in with you, because they all knew he was lying!
May God help America!
Bob White
Merry Christmas to you and your family and enjoy your new grand baby, Anna Grace. Thank you for your support of the American people. We have been able to contribute a little to your campaign and if we can manage in the future, we will be sending more. Our parents /in-laws have contributed as well. It will take time, but we will defeat these socialists and America will continue to be free.
May God Bless you and your family and the USA.
Please keep up the fight for our conservative values in 2010. We were lucky enough to escape the “socialist paradise” and to become proud naturalized US citizens. The Obama Administration is planning to bring the nation to the bottomless swamp of socialism. Please don’t allow that to happen.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
The Hitchev Family
I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas. Thank you so much for standing up for America.
Joe and family: I hope you have a blessed Christmas. For me and mine we are celebrating but with a damper these last few years because we are painfully aware of our loss of liberties under a government that no longer cares for what is in our best interest. I am a bit afraid for the future of this once great country. Because you spoke out this year and were not afraid you gave me a big boost in the hope for our nation. I hope you will continue to be bold and speak out for what it right and never be able to be bought off. To contrain my fears going into the future I must place my continued faith in the God of Abraham (even the LOrd Jesus Christ) that he can continue to guide and protect us from all evil.
Merry Christmas to you Joe and your family..
Enjoy your new grand-daughter,I know I really enjoy my kids and grandkids.
Keep up the good work you are doing in congress and please for the sake of our nation, never back down to obama and his socialist agenda.
My family and i celebrated Christmas last night eve and today I am at work at the hospital lab for 12-hours. Healthcare is a 24-7 job and I don’t regret it for a minute. Been a lab tech for 20-years.
I wish heathcare scam could be stoppped…hopefully this disater can be repealed in the future..
Keep up the good work and May God bless you and your family.

Thank you so much for your Christmas letter. My sons and I celebrate with friends on Christmas Day. We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year. Please keep up the wonderful work you do in Congress. I am so proud of you for standing up to Obama. We need to keep fighting for our rights and our country. Thank you to you and your sons for keeping us safe.
Debbie
Congressman-
Merry Christmas to you and yours. We have traveled from the “fish bowl” of Washington, DC, to spend the holidays with family and friends in Naples, Florida. It is nice to get back in touch with “real people” and away from the politics of Washington.
Enjoy your Christmas with your new grand daughter. Looking forward to seeing you in 2010.
Dear Congressman Joe Wilson and Family,
Thank you for your greetings and we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thank you for all that you do in Washington. Please keep up the fight for the Constitution and the American way of life.
The wife and I are spending a quiet time at home celebrating Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all!
Dear Congressman Joe Wilson and Family,
Thank you for your greetings and we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Dear Congressman Wilson and Family,
Thank you for your greetings and we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for keeping up the fight in Washington and standing up for the Constitution and the American way of life.
Merry Christmas to all!
I am spending Christmas thanking God for Jesus Christ our LORD. I’m also asking God what am I to do if the health care act passes with a federally funded abortion provision? Do I refuse to pay taxes? I know the Bible says to pay our taxes and to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, but it also says not to murder and to obey the laws of God above all, that God’s Word takes precedence over any ways of man. Congressman Wilson, I regard you as an honest and Christian man, what is your advice?
God Bless you and yours at this time. Thank you for your fight on the Hill.
Our son has completed 2 tours in Afghanistan and is a career Army officer. We are concerned about his future with a President in office that does not seem to have a high regard for the military.
May 2010 be a Republican year. May we honor the Christ of Christmas all year long.
Thanks for all you and your family do.
We will be celebrating with family as is the purpose of the day. I personally will be celebrating efforts to maintain our Second Amendment rights now that most of the attempts at an “end run” via the Obamacare bill are being negotiated out.
You remain my outspoken hero and the prefix “Honorable” really suits you.
Merry Christmas (how come we are being shamed into not saying this more) and a Happy re-election year,
John and family
Greetings back to the Wilsons from the Cadoret Family in Cumberland, Rhode Island. We will be having Christmas dinner with our immediate family, my wife Mary, my son Glenn, my daughter Laura (who is in the military), my daughter Ann, my son-in-law Russell, and my grandkids Alicia and Kyle. Glenn and Laura are flying home to be with us. We are so blessed to live in America where Jesus in the manger is still a possibility, at least for the time being. We pray that the coming years will see a full and complete restoration of Christmas in America.
Have a wonderful New Year everyone, and, Joe, keep a close watch on lies and deceptions in 2010.
My husband and I are quietly celebrating this year. First we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. We also celebrate our military and praise those who selflessly sacrifice for the good of us and our beloved country. We also remember and pray for those who are doing without due to illness, finance, etc. Thank you Mr. Wilson for standing up to a rogue president and legislaters. Please continue to fight for us. We will support you and fight alongside for the sake of our beloved Country. We also adopted a soldier at Soldiers Angels. They need our help.
Dear Congressman Wilson,
Merry Christmas to you and your family! May your sons in the military and all of our brave men and women serving our country stay safe and return home soon. Thank you for standing up for Americans who oppose healthcare reform as it is, and government incursion into our free market and into our liberties. Please continue to encourage your fellow republicans to remain faithful to our constitution and our traditional conservative values. If they do this, we will finally see “change we can believe in” in 2010!
Cathy

Dear Congressman Wilson and Family,
Thank you for the Christmas message, and for all that you and your family do for the people of South Carolina, and the United States.
My wife Donna and I spent the holidays much like other families. We spent time with family and friends, exchanged gifts, ate too much, and tried to keep the spirit of the holiday. We really enjoyed being with many of our loved ones!
Sincerely,

We are praying for the troops who are keeping the terriosts from our shores. We also pray that the coming 2010 elections will be a turnover in the senate and house of Biblical proportions. We also thank you for standing up and calling the liar a liar – THANK YOU !!!! God bless and may you and yours have a blessed Christmas !!!

Hi, Joe
Thank you so much for the Christmas message!!!!!
We just returned from the country (Chappell Hill, TX).
We took the dogs, the guns, the books and the booze and
spent a couple of days recharging.
Love, your new friend…
Shannon
Merry Christmas and may God bless use and This great and generous country.
We are just staying home this year with our kids. We have no relatives where we are living so its just us chickens. Its nice and relaxing! The kids opened up their presents this morning, then we spent about a couple of hours just getting everything out of the boxes. Those Chinese sure know how to pack that stuff. LOL We just put the Wii together and the kids are now playing. We just ate lunch…we broke off with traditional Christmas food and smoked some ribs outside. They were yummy. I think its now time to jump into the hot tub with a cold beer! No need for ice, we have lots of snow and its below freezing outside.
We wish the Wilson’s a great Christmas! We’ll get em’ next year. Keep up the TRUTH ! The truth will keep us all free.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! from the Okie Pennington’s in Jersey
I am with you, Joe.
Dear Mr & Mrs Wilson,
Congradulations on your new grandchild. How precious these babies are to us as they hold our future in their tiny hands and yet they are so innocent. We thank you for a beautiful Christmas letter.
My husband and I are doing something different this year due to sad circumstances. Ernie (hubby) was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time last October. His outcome this time was grave and his last wish was to spend what time he had left with is grandchilden whom he has had little time with through the years, they are now 16 & 17 and he has only seen them 3 times in thier lives. So, we packed up our little trailer we were living in down in Florida and moved to West Virginia and away from my kids and grandkids. So this year its a happy but sad occaision because it is my first Christmas ever away from my family. We learn to make sacrafices in our lives for those we love. We have learned since we have been here that for now hubby is in remission but needs close monitoring….our Christmas Miracle.
We pray for our Nation and leaders everyday as we know we all need His Guidance. The day you told Obama “you lie” was the day we started to believe just maybe we still had a chance to get our country back and get back to being what our Founders meant for us to be. I immediately sat down the next day and donated to your cause…to take back America as we see it. As the months go on and finances get stronger again, you will continue to get our financial support. That was a happy day in our lives and one we relive often….we thank you for standing up for the side of right where so much is wrong.
So today, this day being the birth of our Lord and Savior, we have much to be thankful for and much to live for. Even though we are part of America that lost everything, our home, jobs and health…that one comment “you lie” brought back the light to America. We thank you so much and God Bless you and yours from our house to yours.
Simply,
Ernie & Lorraine Adams
As a footnote, we thank you and your family for your service. Ernie served 16 years in the Army. God Bless our Troops and their families.
I’m celebrating Christmas by observing that patriotic Americans are beginning to realize that Republican Conservatism is the means whereby sleazy democrats can be defeated in the 2010 and 2012 elections!
Thanks for all your hard work Joe, merry christmas
Thanks Mr Wilson for the email. Marla and I plan on staying home for the christmas season, and relax. We have a blended family, and we will celebrate with all of the kids, and their wifes, and husbands. I want to thank you for all the work that you do for us, and standing up for the rights of true Americans. I thank the Lord that you are there for us.. I truly believe that we are moving in the wrong direction in this country, and losing our right provided by the Constitution. In 2010 I will be actively involved in the local elelctions and federal elections. It is time to take this country back, but it is also the responsability of those that we elect to listen to the american people, and not to do as they see fit to do. God Bless and Merry Christmas Doug and Marla Macnab
Joe….YOU LIE….those two words is all it took for so many people to feel charged up and like someone was listening to them and that we can speak again. Your courage and honesty was so refreshing…I just wish you and all of us could do more to make this administration better.
As for Christmas, we took a vacation to the North GA Mountains and I am sitting in a mountain cabin, fire place going, grill going and and glass of red wine….thanking God for my many blessings and sending us his son.
God Bless your family and enjoy your holiday.
Laurie
Joe
You rock, he lies! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I have just finished a 20 plus hour day after working and travelling 100 miles from work to be home with my family. Santa did not give me the failed vote for Christmas- guide us please! I
I am praying for our country in the near future- and I am scared!
We have this day to live in a “fantasy world” of Christmas and then back to reality tomorow. Please tell your peers to be strong and FIGHT this government!
I am with my husband and children, grateful for having them in my life. Who needs gifts from Santa when I have a gift from God!
Merry Christmas.
This has been a very somber Christmas for my family, the first without my Mother, my best friend. As you all celebrate with friends and family, please remember to cherish each moment, take lots of pictures, hug, laugh and love as much as possible, and make sure everyone you love knows the baby’s birth we celebrate is the Lord and Savior of the world. I know my family will be whole again one day. God bless you all
congratulations on the birth of your granddaughter. i welcomed my son in to this world on dec 20. keep up all the good work. merry christmas to you and your family
Christmas eve we played pool and wii, then dinner, presents and just generally being together.
Christmas morning, just my ex-wife, daughter and I together as a family.
Mr. Wilson, I know you are a man of integrity and courage. I appreicate you speaking out, calling our ‘president’ on his lack of truthfullness. I don’t understand how so many are so blind.
I tried to stay in the spirit of the season, in spite of the two lumps of coal that congress gave us (healthcare/ ‘stimulus’ bill).
We have so much work to do. We are behind you. Let us know what we can do to take this country back.
Glad to hear you are enjoying your Christmas. We are very grateful for ours this year. Jim had open heart surgery three weeks ago and is doing very well so we are celebrating it with much more love and thankfulness to Christ on the celebration of his birthday. May God bless you all and keep you in his loving arms always!~!
Happy New Year too!~!
Hey Joe,
I started the Holiday by watching the vote yesterday at 7am. Not too inspired to get a so-called Christmas Present that I don’t want and will have to pay for. I keep scratching my head and wondering what any of this has to do with Representation when most of the country doesn’t want it and those who think they do would have a change of heart if they truely understood what it is going to mean when implemented! Anyway, I drive for a living and am very happy to sleep in my own bed for 3 nights and spend time with my family and NOT talk about politics for a few days. We ALL keep a close watch on what is going on. We didn’t need to get all riled up about the Government and spoil Christmas…that can wait til next week.
Hope your Family had a wonderful Christmas and Thanks for all that you have been doing!
Debbie
We exchanged gifts. Then after I fed grand daughter her bottle, I took my son and his fiancee shooting before dinner. Dinner was ham and turkey. Then we watched “ELF” movie. A great day
Dear Joe and Family: I am happy that you are having a wonderful Christmas with your family. Just to get away from DC has to be refreshing. Thank you for standing up for God and our country, knowing that our God is in control, but very worried about our country’s leadership. Our youngest daughter and her family (with our only grandchildren) are in Japan for 3 years while our son-in-law proudly serves in the Navy. Please continue to help restore our country to the great place it once was. Thank you for all your tireless effort.
Dear Wilson Family,
Merry Christmas and thank you for standing up for the “average hard working American tax paying citizen”. It is a depressing holiday ruined by the over zealous, frightening current political “Chicago mob” machine in DC. From Reid, Pelosi, Franken and the lot what a damper they put on the holiday season with their bribing, pandering, threatening and insulting conduct. Never before have I seen such corruption in the House, Senate and Congress. On to lighter topics but still Americans should be enraged not apathetic as demonstrated. Has anyone of these creeps seen a poll conducted by their own party? Hopefully, 2010 will be a painful reminder to there current employment. We want them out, for not representing their constituents nor hearing the over whelming voice of the Americans.
I am teaching my 6 year old to give rather than have expectations of receiving so we are sending a huge care package to a Haitian orphanage, soldiers in Iraq and to Make A Wish Foundation. We are having a fabulous celebration of the fun of giving to those who have so little and sacrifice so much for this country so that we may have the freedoms that we all enjoy (even the undeserving ingrates like Pelosi, Frank and Reid plus our current President).
We have our health, employment (fortunately) and a huge debt (for generations to come) thanks to you know who. Not everyone is drinking the kool aid.
Best to you and your family!
The Slimp Family
Our family spent Christmas with our youngest son, his wife and family in their new home here in SC. It was a great time to be together and the Lord blessed us with another year together. Mr. Wilson, please know that we do support you and will be voting for you again. We admire you for having the guts to stand up to Obama. He has turned his back on the American people, but we are a strong nation and I feel that if we stand together that the next three years are going to see some drastic changes. And, for 2010, there will be more. How ironic that abortion is included in the healthcare bill on the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who would ever have believed? I love the name of your little granddaughter. Stand firm, we are with you.
