Tonight, President Obama will give his first State of the Union address and outline his agenda for the coming year. After his speech, I will give my response live on Facebook by streaming video and answer your questions about the state of our country and what our focus should be in 2010.

Throughout 2009, the focus of the President and the Democrats in Congress has been to pass legislation – like the health care bill – that would only increase government spending, increase taxes and increase government power. But as we’ve seen throughout the past year, more government spending only increases the federal deficit and does nothing to help solve the serious problems our country is facing.

Now, with double-digit unemployment that continues to rise, we must focus on implementing policies that will create new jobs and put Americans back to work.

Please, join me tonight after the State of the Union Address as I give my response to the President’s speech and discuss my ideas about how we can put America back on track.
