Wilson raises $412 thousand in 4th Quarter, 72% from new donors and 55% from small donors.
(West Columbia, S.C.) – The Joe Wilson for Congress campaign is proud to announce a successful fundraising quarter, raising $411,563.16 from 6,459 contributors who believe Joe Wilson is standing up for the people in his South Carolina district.
“The majority of Joe Wilson’s support comes from everyday people who are tired of the arrogance in Washington and feel Joe Wilson is their voice in Congress.” said Wilson Campaign Manager, Dustin Olson. “As Joe Wilson continues to take on the status-quo in Washington, support for his efforts continues to grow across South Carolina.”
Some key facts from Joe Wilson’s latest Federal Election Commission filing are:
55% of Joe Wilson’s fundraising came from grassroots support. $228 thousand of the total raised came from unitemized contributions (donations under $200).
4,644 or 72% of Wilson’s contributions in the 4th quarter came from new donors, indicating that support continues to grow for Joe Wilson despite the influx of new supporters he received in the 3rd quarter.
6,459 people in all donated to Joe Wilson in the 4th quarter.
Joe Wilson raised $411,563.16 from contributors and brought in $416,117.93 including interest.
The campaign has $2,341,915.32 cash on hand.
