    Joe Rolls Up Sleeves, Works at Jobsite & Talks With Working Joes at New SC Farmers Market on Monday March 8 at 12:30

    West Columbia, S.C. – Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) takes his Joe Means Jobs tour to the future SC State Farmers Market to highlight new jobs and meet with workers.

    Joe will roll up his sleeves and work alongside some other “working Joes” at the 175-acre site which is a unique private/public partnership.  The first phase of the Farmers Market is set to open this summer.

    WHAT: Joe Wilson works at new SC State Farmers Market & Meets with “working Joes.” Wilson will have full media availability.

    WHERE: New SC Farmers Market Site – 3483 Charleston Hwy  West Columbia, SC (Meet at white building just inside entrance)

    MEDIA NOTE: This event is just 1 mile away from the Home Depot facility which will have an opening event at 11am where Joe and other leaders will be speaking.

    Joe Means Jobs is an ongoing effort by Joe Wilson to get out and actually do the jobs of “working Joes” and to meet directly with workers and business leaders throughout the Second District.

    From Blythewood, Allendale, Fairfax, Hilton Head and all points in between, Joe has been busy listening to constituents about the current economic climate.  During the tour, Joe is providing his vision on how to get people back to work in this tough economy.
