On Sunday, Speaker Pelosi and her liberal allies in Congress forced through their government takeover of health care. They made backroom deals to twist the arms of members of their own Party. They ignored the will of the American people. And they tried to silence the opposition – people like you and me – who know that this government-run health care plan will kill jobs, destroy our health care system and leave our children and grandchildren to pay its enormous price tag.

This morning, President Obama signed this Big Government takeover into law.

While President Obama and Speaker Pelosi celebrate, we cannot afford to stop the fight. We must not let our frustration get in the way of doing what is right for our country.

I promise to lead the charge to make sure this government takeover of our health care is repealed and replaced with real reforms that lower health care costs.
