• Wilson selects campaign manager

U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson has selected Dustin Olson to run his re-election campaign.

Olson, who hails from Colorado, is a graduate of both the Republican National Committee Campaign Management program and the Leadership of the Rockies program.

Olson served as Coalitions Director for the Bush/Cheney 2004 re-election campaign and later served in the Bush administration working on conservation and agricultural policy.

He has run congressional campaigns in Massachusetts and Missouri.

Wilson will likely face Democrat Rob Miller, who Wilson defeated two years ago.

The race between the two has become one of the most expensive in the country after Wilson called President Obama a liar during a joint session of Congress.

Both Wilson and Miller raised millions of dollars nationally after the incident.
