(West Columbia, S.C.) – Joe Wilson has had enough of the Washington liberals outrageous spending habits and is vowing to Cut The Fat! Joe spend some time Thursday at the very popular Sgt. White’s Diner to talk with patrons while cutting the fat.
Joe chopped up some BBQ and illustrated how all South Carolinians love BBQ, but no one wants to dine on fat for lunch!
“You’ve gotta cut the fat, because I can’t sell the fat,” said retired Marine vet and diner owner Ron White. “When I had an issue with the VA, Joe was right there for me and that’s why I will do all I can for Joe. We need to keep cutting the fat in Washington and provide more to the veterans and I know Joe will do that.”
When it comes to the federal budget, the Democrats have racked up a record $13-trillion dollar debt, closely approaching the entire US Gross Domestic Product.
Joe Wilson believes the government needs to live within its means, and has proposed an audit of the 787-billion dollar “stimulus” bill. Joe also supports a balanced budget amendment and a return to 2008 spending levels.
Joe is asking users of his Facebook page to submit ideas on how to cut the fat. Please visit www.facebook.com/joewilsonforcongress to see what ideas have been submitted.
