Hometown Cookouts continue, bus tour starts Monday.
by Team Wilson on August 20, 2010Joe Wilson continues a district-wide push to meet with constituents and talk about job creation and cutting the fat from the federal budget.
(West Columbia, S.C.) – Joe Wilson is warming up the grill and making last minute checks on his tour bus for a busy week ahead. Wilson will be holding five Hometown Cookouts this weekend and then hop on the bus for his annual bus tour starting Monday.
This year’s tour is titled the Joe Means Jobs bus tour. Earlier this week Joe helped apply graphics on the large tour bus which is all ready for Monday. Click here to see the photos.
“I pride myself on getting out to the entire district and meeting directly with people and small business owners,” Wilson said. “People need to know they have a voice in Washington and my belief is that being accessible and accountable is the core of my job. Right now we need to be focused on cutting taxes and creating jobs and that’s what the Joe Means Jobs bus tour is all about.”
