Joe Wilson’s bus tour across district highlights successful small businesses. JoeMeansJobs.com follows every step of the way.
(West Columbia, S.C.) – In case you missed it this past Friday, Joe Wilson concluded his annual bus tour to all 10 counties in the Second District. Adding a unique flavor to the voyage and keeping with his ongoing theme of accessibility, the JoeMeansJobs.com blog took supporters and media every step of the way with several daily updates including videos.
“I am so grateful to be invited to visit small businesses across the district,” Wilson said. “After visiting with local workers and small business people there’s one strong theme I heard; people are demanding tax cuts and less spending in Washington. Taxes are set to go up at the end of the year unless Congress acts now, and I will fight against any tax hikes.”

While Joe spent the week making numerous public appearances, his liberal opponent remains in hiding. The Hilton Head Island Packet reports Joe’s opponent refused to give his position on Obamacare and put off giving the newspaper his campaign schedule.
Highlights of the Joe Means Jobs Bus Tour included visiting Williston’s Dixie Narco, a plant which Joe was instrumental in keeping in South Carolina and expanded operations.
Joe also attended the grand opening of zinc-recycler Horsehead Industries, a plant in Snelling which will add 60 jobs in addition to visiting numerous other locally owned small businesses from Irmo to Beaufort and all points in between.

“The Joe Means Jobs Tour further confirms that America can still compete, but we must work with small businesses and get Washington’s high taxes and red tape out of the way.” Wilson said.
Joe Wilson makes constituent service his number one priority. The Joe Means Jobs tour is an extension of Wilson’s accessibility and accountability where he can work alongside constituents and see what challenges they are facing in their daily lives.
During the Joe Means Jobs Bus Tour, Joe performed jobs at small businesses including inspecting fruit, doing quality control on a vending machine, serving up lunches and reading to kids at a daycare. For more on Joe’s campaign and his plans for job creation, visit www.JoeMeansJobs.com
