Growing the Economy through Decreasing Government

Last night, the Senate rightfully failed to pass the President’s tax-increasing jobs bill. Yet many Democrats are trying to blame the Republicans for its failure when several members of their own party voted against it!
The House GOP sent dozens of pro-job bills to the Senate, including bills for regulatory reform, small business tax relief, and a debt-reducing budget. Have Senate Democrats looked at these bills? No. Is the President blaming Republicans for gridlock in Washington? Yes.
When are Democrats going to learn?
The tax increases offered in President Obama’s jobs bill will not help small businesses get our economy back on track. Democrats in Congress need to learn what will grow our economy: lower taxes, less government regulations, and measures that actually support small business growth.
