• What Democrats Need to Learn

Don’t ask Vice President Joe Biden to rally the troops or cheer on the team.

Last Thursday, Vice President Biden told the Washington Ideas Forum that the GOP was “absolutely” strong enough to defeat President Barack Obama in the upcoming election. He went on to say that “a significant majority of the American people believe that the country is not moving in the right direction.

It’s good to see that at least one member of the Democratic Party understands reality. Yet, Democrats and the Vice President still don’t see that the keys to job creation are in limited government, lowered taxes and a reduced deficit.

President Obama and the Democratic Party are in trouble. Americans need jobs, and three years of costly “solutions” from the Obama Administration have not helped. Election 2012 can be the year that the Democratic Party learns that solutions for job growth exist outside of raising taxes on hard-working Americans, encumbering businesses with more regulations, and burdening future generations with monumental debt.

Let’s make 2012 the year that Democrats learn a thing or two!
